Morelia, Michoacán, January 8, 2024.- With more than 1,850 students, the Technological University of Morelia (UTM) began the January-May 2024 semester with an event that brought together students, professors and administrative staff.

The rector of the UTM, Graciela C. Andrade García Peláez, led the event that officially marks the beginning of a new academic period in which she highlighted the importance of the university community and expressed her wish for a successful year for everyone.

García Peláez mentioned that this event symbolizes the appreciation and unity that characterizes the UTM family. Likewise, he emphasized the university's continuous effort to consolidate itself and highlighted the achievements that have positioned it favorably in public opinion.

“I want to remind you that you are loved very much and that every day the Technological University of Morelia grows stronger. They speak well of us and that is thanks to the commitment and dedication of each of you,” he stated.

The university community received this message at the beginning of the semester with enthusiasm and reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence and the comprehensive development of its members. 

The Technological University of Morelia hopes that the year 2024 will be a period of success and growth, both academic and personal, for all its students, professors and administrative staff, as well as their families.
