During the second National Meeting 2023 of Rectors of the Technological Subsystem

Puebla, Puebla, August 30, 2023.- The rector of the Technological University of Morelia (UTM), Graciela C. Andrade García Peláez, and leaders of other institutions in the country, formed the Council of Universities of the Technological Subsystem, with the objective of promoting reflection and decision-making for the creation of the New Educational Model of the Subsystem.

Puebla, Puebla, August 30, 2023.- The rector of the Technological University of Morelia (UTM), Graciela C. Andrade García Peláez, and leaders of other institutions in the country, formed the Council of Universities of the Technological Subsystem, with the objective of promoting reflection and decision-making for the creation of the New Educational Model of the Subsystem. 

The first five commissions will address critical issues: Consolidation of the educational model; Review and creation of the new growth and financing model; Redefinition of organizational structures of universities; Review and update of the job catalog and its salary tabulators; and Educational Excellence, Assessment and Accreditation.

García Peláez highlighted that this meeting emphasizes the collective commitment to move towards a higher education that is more innovative and appropriate to the needs of the present, and represents a step in the direction of a more solid and relevant educational future for future generations.
