Morelia, Michoacán, March 15, 2023.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) carried out the remodeling of the auditoriums of buildings A, B and D, with the installation of 390 new seats, equivalent to an investment of 2 million 269 thousand pesos.

This action represents a direct benefit for the students and future income of the campus, since now they will have more comfortable and functional spaces for the development of their academic activities.

The inauguration of this remodeling took place within the framework of the talks “Explore new paths. Getting to know the productive units and getting to know you”, with the presence of business leaders from the region, such as David Luviano Gómez, president in Michoacán of the Employers' Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex); Carla Patricia Suárez Ayala, director of the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra) Morelia; Marcos Alexis Márquez Mendoza, president of the Young Industrialists Committee; and Ana Lucía Núñez Pichardo, manager of the Association of Industrialists of the State of Michoacán (AIEMAC).

The rector of the UTM, Graciela C. Andrade, emphasized the importance of taking care of the new furniture to keep it in good condition and take advantage of the benefits it offers. Likewise, he thanked the presence of the business leaders who recognized the quality of the university's educational model and its human approach, by highlighting the professional training that students receive.

Business representatives took the opportunity to inform students interested in freeing up their stays about the opportunities they have by approaching member companies to capitalize on the time invested in their professional present and future.

The Technological University of Morelia will continue to work on the constant improvement of its facilities and the training of professionals capable of successfully facing the challenges of the world of work.
