The program comprises six semestersMorelia, Michoacán, December 5, 2022.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) opens a call for the master's degree in Engineering Applied to Innovation, second generation, aimed at professionals in Information Technology, Virtual Environments and Mechatronic.

Graciela Andrade García Peláez, rector of the UTM, explained that the objective of the master's degree is to train professionals who enter the productive sector with solid knowledge and a high sense of professionalism in the management of sustainable technological projects, generating timely and pertinent decisions according to current regulations and the motivations and expectations of companies, aimed at the technological development of the country.

The academic program comprises six four-month periods, which, according to the Academic Model of Technological Universities, includes a four-month stay in a productive unit in which a project is designed and produced with which the student graduates.

The rector recalled that, according to the relevance studies, the classes are face-to-face on Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The curriculum in the first quarter includes the subjects of Creativity and Technological Innovation, Digital Transformation, Strategic Thinking and Cloud Computing; in the second quarter Lean Service, Industry 4.0, Professional Ethics and Cloud Computing II will be seen.

In the rest of the semester, students will learn about: Business systems based on Internet collaboration, Internet of Things (IoT), Electronic commerce, Home automation and intelligent environments, Industrial property, Robotics, to conclude with their professional stay.
