Morelia, Michoacán, August 25, 2023.- Three students from the Technological University of Morelia (UTM) who are part of the UTQ-UTM 2023 Ambassadors Program will carry out international stays in Japan, where they will strengthen their technological skills.
Before leaving for Osaka, Japan, students Emiliano Augusto Ibarra Manríquez and Iliana Guadalupe Acosta Pérez from the Information Technology major, as well as Manuel Alejandro Olivares from Mechatronics, shared an emotional meeting with their relatives and the rector of the UTM, Graciela Andrade Garcia Pelaez.
The trip, which is scheduled for this weekend, represents an important milestone within the framework of the UTQ-UTM 2023 Ambassadors Program, an initiative in which the Technological University of Morelia (UTM) plays an active and committed role.
Chancellor Graciela Andrade García Peláez pointed out that in recent days, two students also undertook their journey under the same program, heading to the University of California, Riverside Campus (UCR), in the United States.
The students who have been selected to participate in this program meet high-level academic standards and have passed internal language assessments with a minimum level of B1+/B2, in addition to undergoing an evaluation process by the receiving institution.
