Morelia, Michoacán, May 4, 2023.- The rector of the Technological University of Morelia (UTM), Graciela C. Andrade García Peláez, invited students in their last semester of high school and upper secondary education to learn about the career of Textile and Fashion Design.

In addition, he highlighted the advantages of the academic model, which is based on a four-month system with a practical load of 70 percent and a theoretical load of 30 percent, which allows students to develop their abilities and skills in the professional field in a more effective.

The Textile and Fashion Design career consists of two levels, the Higher University Technician (TSU) of two years, and engineering of one year and eight additional months, with a total of three years and eight months of studies. Upon completion and approval, students will obtain two degrees, TSU and Engineering.

The rector highlighted that the investment to study at the UTM is the same since the beginning of the administration of Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, with a cost of 412 pesos per exam and a little more than 2 thousand pesos when enrolling in the first semester. From there, only a payment of 515 pesos must be covered at the beginning of each quarter.

The academic offer of the UTM also includes studies in Biotechnology Engineering, Mechatronics, Food Processes, Renewable Energies, Industrial Maintenance, Information Technology, as well as a Degree in Gastronomy.
