Morelia, Michoacán, February 16, 2023.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) and the Republic of Armenia in Michoacán, through its consul, Jack Sahakian, join efforts to strengthen academic training and give more opportunities to the and the students.
The rector of the UTM, Graciela C. Andrade García Peláez, received the honorary consul, who is also president of the Lebanese Club of Michoacán, and after presenting him with the advantages of the UTM academic model and the abilities of the students of each of the eight careers, emphasized the importance of students getting to know other countries and ways of working.
The consul expressed his interest in collaborating with the university to bring young people determined to study closer to the culture and knowledge of their country.
In this sense, points of view were shared to establish an agreement that allows student exchanges between the UTM, in Universities of Lebanon and the Republic of Armenia, with the aim of strengthening the academic and professional training of young people from both nations.
With this initiative, the Technological University of Morelia consolidates its work to strengthen academic and international relations, by promoting the excellence of highly trained professionals committed to the technological and economic development of their environment.
