Five UTM students participate in a technology program in Japan

Osaka, Japan, July 1, 2024.- Five students from the Technological University of Morelia (UTM) are already in Osaka, Japan, ready in their laboratories to begin their activities and participate in the Japan Innovation and Technology Immersion Program.
Diego Fernando Cesar Arreguín from Renewable Energies, Johanna Janet Balderas Alejandre from Information Technologies, Gerardo Guzmán Fernández from Mechatronics, Luis Alfredo Sánchez López from Industrial Maintenance and Luis Enrique Cerda Rodríguez from Mechatronics are the students selected for this program.
The program will take place from July 1 to 14 and they will be able to acquire international academic experiences through the Mirai Innovation Institute, for which they have been awarded 100 thousand pesos each.
This mobility program is part of the CIC 4.0 NETWORK, Intelligence and Innovation Strategy Unit 4.0, which is made up of 15 Technological and Polytechnic Universities, including UT Querétaro, UT Tijuana, UP Cancún, UT del Retoño de Aguascalientes, UT of Toluca, UT of Veracruz, UT of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca and the UT of Morelia.
Once the students return, they will share their academic and technological experiences to enrich the learning and training process of the UTM student community.
