Morelia, Michoacán, October 5, 2023.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) held the inauguration ceremony of the Cooperative Financial Advisor career and formalized agreements through agreements with the non-profit organization Sparkassenstiftung Alemana, and with the Cajas Morelia Valladolid and Alianza Lagunillas.

The rector Graciela C. Andrade García Peláez, highlighted the importance of this career based on the Dual Education model and emphasized that, for healthy economic growth in the country, it is essential to measure it through national investments and convert savings into a source investment. 

The representatives of the Morelia Valladolid and Alianza Lagunillas savings banks, Omar Aguilar Campos and Clara Morales, expressed their gratitude for joining the Cooperative Financial Advisor program and for their contribution to promoting savings in the country, and highlighted the importance of promoting generation of science and technology through collaboration between multiple partners to invest savings.

García Peláez thanked the support of educational authorities at the federal and state level, as well as government representatives and productive sectors, and highlighted the effectiveness of the Dual Education model, citing the successful example of Germany as a driver of the Gross Domestic Product throughout of the years.

Sparkassenstiftung's Mexico Regional Project Director, Tobias Brill, also participated in this event.
