Fourth edition will take place on August 31 at Ceconexpo
Morelia, Michoacán, August 26, 2023.- With the participation of more than 100 Design and Industrial Fashion students, the Technological University of Morelia (UTM) will hold the fourth edition of TextilArte, a showcase that seeks to enhance creativity and highlight the cultural richness of Mexico.
The event will take place on August 31 at the Morelia Convention and Exhibition Center (Ceconexpo), and will also bring together teachers and fashion lovers to witness the designs inspired by the alebrijes and that will fuse the essence of the Mexican shawl. in his creations.
Industrial Design and Fashion students will demonstrate their skill in the application of techniques, exhibit their skills and be evaluated in a real environment, which will contribute to their professional growth.
The catwalk will take place in the Expo Centro room, top floor, at 6:30 p.m. 800 people are expected to attend, including participants, special guests, state authorities, designers, and business leaders.
TextilArte not only celebrates the creativity and skills of students and graduates, but also promotes the connection between fashion and culture in the heart of Michoacán.
