Morelia, Michoacán, April 8, 2023.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) was recognized for its academic excellence at the Michoacan Science and Engineering Fair (Femici), by obtaining two accreditations to participate in the Mexican Science Fair and Engineering 2023.

The winning projects were Recycle-Bot, presented by the students Luis Enrique Cerda Rodríguez, David Ulises Arreola Bedolla, and Juan Daniel García Morales, with the advice of Julio Cesar Hernández Ramírez; and Control system of variables for seed growth for hass avocado grafting, by José Luis Manríquez Vivanco, Jovany Rafael Hernández Martínez and Jesús Hernández Guevara with the advice of Edgar Octavio García Castro, both belonging to the Mechatronics career.

The rector of the UTM, Graciela C. Andrade, highlighted that the degree is an excellent option for those students seeking engineering training, since it allows them to develop and maintain automated and control systems with the application of appropriate technology. , complying with the standards, technical and safety specifications necessary to optimize and maintain production processes.
