Morelia, Michoacán, February 4, 2023.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) and the Association of Industrialists of the State of Michoacán (AIEMAC) met to analyze new spaces for industrial development with the students of the eight majors.
The rector of the UTM, Graciela C. Andrade, explained that the university has Dual Education that allows companies to work in collaboration with the UTM to certify workers through this academic model.
This opens up a great opportunity for students to gain work experience while specializing in their area of study.
An invitation was made to the members of the AIEMAC to join the relevant committees of the UTM, since, as connoisseurs of the social and economic context, they can contribute on the needs of professional profiles that are required and in this way they can be designed educational programs more suitable for the employment needs of the market.
The representatives of the AIEMAC showed interest especially in the careers of Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics and Information Technology, as well as the Bachelor's Degree in Gastronomy and Engineering in Biotechnology, Renewable Energies, Design and Industrial Fashion.
The AIEMAC brings together industries such as Ambiental Morelia, Fundidora Morelia, GNU, AETH, TEAM FOODS, INFASA, ANDRITZ and Harinera Monarca, as well as chemical, automotive, energy, wood and paper, metalworking, plastic, textile and industrial services industries.
