Women and girls have played a crucial role in science since the beginning of history; however, their participation in this sector has not always been recognized.
For this reason, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated in February.

In commemoration of her great contributions to Science, Marie Curie, a Polish physicist and chemist nationalized French; A pioneer in the field of radioactivity, she is the first and only person to receive two Nobel Prizes. She stated:
