ICTI and UTM launch call for the 2023 Michoacan Science and Engineering Fair

Morelia, Michoacán, January 20, 2023.-* The Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation of Michoacán (ICTI) and the Technological University of Morelia (UTM) launched the call to participate in the Michoacán Science and Engineering Fair 2023 (FEMICI ).

The invitation is addressed to High School and Higher Education students enrolled in public and private educational institutions in Michoacán, who are interested in the development of scientific and technological projects with a social impact.

At a press conference, the head of the ICTI, Alejandra Ochoa Zarzosa, invited the students to participate and share their scientific projects or technological developments. "There is a lot of talent in the state and this Fair represents an opportunity for it."

He added that the projects must be original and consistent with the following areas of knowledge: earth sciences, basic sciences, environmental sciences, medicine and health sciences, humanities and social sciences, and engineering.

Those interested can participate individually or as a team and can register for free, the delivery deadline is March 3 at 4:59 p.m.

For her part, Graciela Andrade, rector of the UTM, highlighted the importance of carrying out this edition in person and based at the University facilities, located at Avenida Vicepresident Pino Suarez #750 in Ciudad Industrial, in Morelia, where there are with the equipment and infrastructure to develop projects that highlight the talent of Michoacan students.
