There are 24 talks, courses and workshops that will be offered to students and the general public.

Morelia, Michoacán, August 7, 2022.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) will celebrate its XXII Anniversary, from August 8 to 11 with 24 activities, including Civic Acts, Conferences, courses, workshops, sports tournaments in different disciplines, talent show, rally of abilities, skills and knowledge, as well as a Gastronomic corridor.

The rector Graciela Andrade García Peláez, indicated that the UTM will begin with a civic act on Monday, August 8, in which students, professors and administrative staff will participate; and later the State Committee for the Relevance of Careers will be installed. That same day, the Talent Culture Contest will be held.

He highlighted the coordination for carrying out sports activities between the authorities of the UTM and the Single Union of Workers of the Technological University of Morelia (SUTUTEM) in terms of carrying out sports tournaments in the disciplines of Mixed Volleyball (minimum 2 women on court ), men's fast soccer, women's fast soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball, on August 8 and 9.

The professors of the Bachelor of Gastronomy organized the Gastronomic Corridor that will be held on August 10, in addition to the conferences: "Mestizaje as the basis of the culinary identity of Mexico, "The Importance of the HACCP System in the food industry" and two broadcasts of the “Laminated Masses” workshop.

The Information Technology career will hold four workshops: "Use of Photoshop for social networks", "Business intelligence and data science", "Development of mobile APPS" and "Social networks in business".

The Industrial Fashion and Design career organized a workshop on “Pre-Hispanic weaving on a backstrap loom” and one on “Textile Dyeing with Natural Pigments”; He will also present the paper “Introduction to fashion styling”.

Biotechnology Engineering prepared the conference “Human identification through molecular techniques”; while Mechatronics will hold the talk "3D printing applied to automation". While Industrial Maintenance will present the conference "Challenges in the technology industry and how to face them to have a successful career", a workshop on "Renewable energies on solar heaters" and another on "Smart Grid (Synchronization)".
