• High school students learned about the educational offerings of the Technological University of Morelia
Morelia, Michoacán, May 15, 2024.- During the National Bonding Week, the Technological University of Morelia (UTM) participated with a series of conferences and workshops aimed at more than 360 students about to graduate from the Industrial and Technological Baccalaureate Center. Services 149 (CBTIS).
The activities included five conferences aimed at students from different specialties, such as Accounting, Data and Information Science, Clinical Laboratory, Automotive Maintenance, Construction and Childcare. Among the conferences were Exploring the world of video games, directed by Professor Omar Ordoñez Toledo from the Information Technology and Solar Energy major: the power of the sun in your hands, by Professor Miguel Barragán Bueno.
In addition, practical workshops were offered, such as Learn to read the genetic code, led by the deputy director of the Biotechnology degree, Eréndira Solache Huacuz, as well as the workshop on Sublimation and making accessories, taught by professors Florinda Rangel Betancourt and Adriana Martínez Calderon.
During one of the sessions aimed at Accounting students, the relevance of savings and financial practices was highlighted in a conference titled Importance of savings and financial practices. Clara Yesenia Martínez Ramírez, student studying Financial Advisor, shared her perspective on topics such as ant expenses and the benefits of savings.
These activities not only enriched the knowledge of the CBTIS 149 students, but also allowed them to learn about the educational offerings of the Technological University of Morelia, thus promoting greater links between both institutions.
