Morelia, Michoacán, November 24, 2023. – Students from the Technological University of Morelia (UTM), obtained first place with a high-efficiency incubator supported by a solar air heater, at the recent State Meeting of Robotics and Prototypes of Technological development.

This was reported by the rector of the UTM, Graciela C. Andrade García Peláez, who explained that it was Renewable Energy students who achieved this victory, while emphasizing the relevance of this career, since recent achievements at the local level have been highlighted. and international.

“Likewise, second place was awarded to an innovative single-axis solar tracker project with the Internet of Things (IoT). These triumphs underline the commitment of the current state administration to research and the practical application of knowledge, preparing students for the challenges of the real world,” he noted.

In the international arena, he said, a Renewable Energy student participated in the UTQ-UTM 2023 international mobility program, which expanded his technological skills at the prestigious University of California, Riverside Campus (UCR), in the United States.
