Morelia, Michoacán, January 21, 2023.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) hosted the preparations for the second meeting for the Organization of the Regional Meeting of Technological Universities, Region VI.

In two days of work, the selection of the thousand 500 profiles that will participate on February 10 and 11 in the sports regional was made and on February 18 the Regional Culture will be held in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, as reported by Itzi Pérez Esquivel, head of Cultural and Sports activities.

The winners of these matches will get their pass to the national phase to be held from March 23 to 26 in Puebla, competing with students from all the Technological Universities of the country.

Region VI is made up of the Technological University of León, of the Southwest of Guanajuato, of San Miguel de Allende, of Salamanca, Querétaro, San Juan del Río, the Aeronautical University of Querétaro and the Technological University of North Guanajuato.

The sports competitions are in the disciplines of soccer, football 7, volleyball, basketball.

As for the Regional Culture, which will take place on February 18, the disciplines are mural in chalk, singing, rondalla, declamation, oratory and folk dance.

It should be noted that the UTM has a direct pass to the national taekwondo, chess, athletics and with what it will be possible to pass to the regional.
