The Technological University will host the event organized by the ICTI.

Morelia, Michoacán, March 1, 2023.- The Technological University of Morelia (UTM) and the Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (ICTI) invite upper secondary and higher education students interested in scientific, technological and/or social impact, to participate in the 2023 Michoacan Science and Engineering Fair (FEMICI) and register your project before March 3, 2023.

Graciela C. Andrade García Peláez, rector of the UTM and Alejandra Ochoa Zarzosa, head of the ICTI, explained that FEMICI is an opportunity for young people to get motivated and find projects that they can apply in different categories of science, such as animals, plants , chemical energy, microbiology, environmental engineering, materials science, robotics and intelligent machines.

The participation project must be oriented in one of the science or engineering categories, and can be developed individually or in a team of up to three students, who will be irreplaceable. The registration platform will be available from the presentation of the call and will close on March 3, 2023 at 4:59 p.m.

The winners will represent the state in the national edition and will be announced at the Michoacán Science and Engineering Fair, which will take place on March 31, 2023 at the UTM facilities, and on the page of the Institute of Science, Technology.
